A night at the coffee shop

I just got done doing the final touches on my engagement enlargement for Albert and Mary. It is very different from most of my other work, but I really love it. It reminds me of something, but I'm not totally sure what, like a pop culture oil painting that I've seen before. Feel free to tell me your thoughts!

Nick and Lauren Part I

Hmmm... Somehow this one didn't get published/got erased. Oh well! So, I've been doing some work with a family that lives on a Christmas Tree farm out in Burleson. I've had to be there right as the sun was coming up, and the sight took my breath away every single morning. Overnight, there was a build-up of dew, and when the sun started to rise, it would create this ethereal fog that was breathtaking when the sun would shine through from low on the horizon. I KNEW that I had to do a shoot here! I just had to find a couple crazy enough to get up and be at my house by 6 AM. That's commitment to your photos!! Nick and Lauren were JUST the couple. They understand the meaning of suffering for art! (It wasn't so bad) And the shots came out amazing!

Nick and Lauren Part II

Since we had to get up so early, and strangely enough it got COLDER as the day went on, we had to wait about a week to finish up with the photo shoot. Nick was sweet enough to indulge our "down on the farm" scenario, so I decided to take him to some places that seemed to fit his style a little more: something a bit more urban and industrial. He and Lauren are so natural together; they just laugh constantly. You can tell they grew up together. How cute is that?!?! My absolute favorite has to be the super close up where she's kissing his nose.

Welcome to Hillary Morgan Photography

Welcome to my new blog! I'm finally stepping onto the whole blogging bandwagon. Here is the place where I can share my individual shoots, tell you all what is going on, rave about my fantastic husband, etc. It's Hillary Morgan Photography, all day, every day!! (I know at least 4 of y'all just jumped to put me on your bookmarks toolbar, and rightfully so. I am incredibly fascinating... incredibly) It's like everyone can be their own little Truman on the "Truman Show". So let the blogging begin!
